Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible, part-time opportunity to kickstart your career in retail? Target in Macon, GA is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Weekend Retail Assistants. This is an excellent chance for someone ready for immediate start, offering flexible shifts that fit your schedule. You’ll be instrumental in creating a positive shopping experience for our guests, ensuring our store looks great, and helping keep shelves stocked. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal role for individuals eager to learn and grow within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests on the sales floor with a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Help guests locate products and answer basic product inquiries.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and backroom areas.
- Restock shelves and displays to ensure product availability.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the register, if assigned.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including receiving and processing merchandise.
- Support store operations by ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 25 lbs), and bend for extended periods.
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or retail setting (not required, but a plus).
- A passion for providing exceptional guest service.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
