Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Window Shutter Labourer to join our growing team in Mount Gambier. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, stable full-time work with weekly pay. You will be an integral part of our installation crew, assisting with the preparation, delivery, and installation of various window shutter systems. Full training will be provided to ensure you gain the necessary skills and confidence for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled installers with the fitting and installation of window shutters.
- Prepare work sites, including setting up equipment and ensuring safety compliance.
- Load and unload materials and tools from vehicles.
- Perform basic measurements and cutting under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work site and company vehicles.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines diligently.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients on site.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects.
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various tasks.
- Possession of a valid C-class driver's license.
- Australian Construction White Card (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a construction or trade environment (even basic labouring).
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Experience working at heights (not essential but beneficial).
- A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team.
