Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Yoga Teacher to join our vibrant team at Nuffield Health Cambridge. You will be responsible for leading engaging and safe yoga classes, catering to various levels of experience, and contributing to our members’ overall wellbeing. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire and guide individuals on their wellness journey within a supportive and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, inspiring, and safe yoga classes for groups of varying abilities.
  • Plan and structure class content to ensure progression and variety.
  • Provide clear verbal instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on adjustments (with consent) where appropriate.
  • Maintain a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment in the studio.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants.
  • Engage with members, build rapport, and encourage a sense of community.
  • Adhere to Nuffield Health's policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines.
  • Stay updated with the latest yoga trends, techniques, and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification from a recognised institution.
  • Proven experience teaching yoga classes in a group setting for at least 2 years.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching style to suit different participant needs and levels.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and professional approach to work.
  • Valid Public Liability Insurance.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional certifications in specific yoga styles (e.g., Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin).
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Experience with diverse populations or specialized yoga (e.g., prenatal, restorative).
