Job Description
Are you ready to be part of a dynamic team preparing delicious, high-quality gourmet meal kits? Whole Foods Market is immediately hiring dedicated individuals for our Meal Kit Assembly Line in a chilled environment. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling various meal kits, ensuring each product meets our rigorous quality standards and is ready for our valued customers. We are looking for reliable team members who can thrive in a fast-paced setting and are committed to food safety and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble gourmet meal kits according to precise recipes and specifications.
- Perform quality checks on ingredients and assembled kits to ensure freshness and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station in a chilled production environment.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Operate basic food processing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality control issues to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory management and ingredient rotation as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a chilled environment for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs consistently throughout a shift.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in food production, food service, or a similar assembly role (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with HACCP principles or other food safety standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
