Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Innovation Lead to join our Corporate Strategy team in Launceston, Tasmania. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and championing strategic innovation initiatives that drive future growth and maintain our competitive edge in the evolving financial landscape. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, leveraging market insights and emerging technologies to translate innovative ideas into actionable strategies and scalable solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of financial services, a passion for disruption, and the ability to inspire change within a large organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the identification and evaluation of emerging trends, technologies, and market opportunities relevant to the financial services sector.
- Develop and champion strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with the company's long-term corporate objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and ideation sessions to generate novel concepts and solutions for business challenges.
- Collaborate with various business units, product teams, and technology partners to scope, pilot, and scale innovative projects.
- Conduct feasibility studies and business cases for new initiatives, assessing potential impact and resource requirements.
- Monitor and report on the progress and success metrics of innovation projects.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the organization.
- Represent CBA at industry events and engage with external innovation ecosystems.

- Proven experience in innovation management, strategic planning, or corporate development within a large organization.
