Job Description
Are you looking to start a rewarding career in the insurance industry with comprehensive training? State Farm is seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Insurance Claims Adjuster Trainee for a desk-based role. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for those with little to no prior experience, as we provide full, structured training to equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge. In this role, you will learn to investigate, evaluate, and settle insurance claims from our Norman office, primarily handling claims via phone and computer. You will be a crucial point of contact for our policyholders during challenging times, guiding them through the claims process with empathy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a comprehensive training program covering insurance policies, claims handling procedures, and relevant regulations.
- Investigate and gather information for assigned insurance claims, primarily over the phone and through digital channels.
- Communicate clearly and empathetically with policyholders, explaining the claims process and setting appropriate expectations.
- Document all claim activity, communications, and decisions accurately and thoroughly in our claims system.
- Review policy coverage and apply relevant terms to determine claim eligibility and appropriate settlement.
- Collaborate with senior adjusters and team members to resolve complex claim issues and continuously learn.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies, procedures, and state insurance regulations.
Required Skills
