Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Industrial Packers to join our dynamic team at our Fyshwick Distribution Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for ongoing, full-time work with a competitive hourly rate. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided to ensure you are confident and competent in all aspects of the role. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently packing a variety of goods for dispatch, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pack products according to company standards and customer orders.
- Perform quality checks on items to ensure they meet specifications before packing.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed).
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical fitness, capable of standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (highly regarded but not essential).
- Current forklift license (LF or LO) is a bonus.
- First Aid certification.
