Job Description
Are you looking for a stable night shift role with immediate start in a dynamic production environment? Reach PLC is seeking diligent and reliable individuals to join our team as Newspaper Insert Stuffers at our state-of-the-art print facility in Porthcawl. This entry-level position is perfect for those who thrive in a fast-paced setting and are committed to accuracy and efficiency. Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to gain experience in a vital part of the publishing industry. You will be responsible for ensuring that all inserts, flyers, and special sections are correctly placed into newspapers before distribution, contributing directly to the quality and timeliness of our daily publications.
Key Responsibilities
- Manually insert various advertising materials, flyers, and special sections into newspapers.
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet tight production deadlines during the night shift.
- Monitor the quality of inserts and notify supervisors of any issues or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety guidelines.
- Operate basic machinery as required, following all safety protocols (training provided).
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and quality control.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced production, factory, or warehouse environment (though not essential as full training is provided).
- Experience working night shifts.
- Residency within Porthcawl or surrounding Bridgend area.
