Job Description
Are you looking for a stable night role where your dedication to safety and customer service is valued? Ampol Renmark is seeking a motivated and reliable Night Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position – no prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive training for all aspects of the role. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations during the night shift, providing excellent service to our customers, and maintaining a safe and clean station environment. Key Responsibilities
- Process fuel and merchandise transactions accurately and efficiently
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to all patrons during the night shift
- Monitor the fuel pumps and forecourt for safety and cleanliness
- Restock shelves and maintain product displays
- Perform general cleaning duties inside and outside the station, including restrooms and food preparation areas
- Conduct safety checks and follow all company safety protocols
- Manage cash handling and end-of-shift reconciliation
- Report any issues or incidents to the relevant supervisor
- Ensure compliance with all relevant store policies and procedures, including age-restricted sales
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality for night shifts
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and guidelines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic mathematical skills for cash handling
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks

Preferred Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transport to and from work
- Basic First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)
