Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Online WordPress Specialist to join our digital team. In this 100% remote role, you will be responsible for the continuous maintenance, security, and performance optimization of our various WordPress-powered websites. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of WordPress best practices to ensure our online presence is robust and user-friendly. You will play a critical role in keeping our digital platforms running smoothly, securely, and efficiently, directly contributing to our overall digital strategy and user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular WordPress core, theme, and plugin updates to ensure security and compatibility.
- Conduct routine website backups and implement robust recovery strategies.
- Monitor website performance, uptime, and security vulnerabilities, taking prompt action as needed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to WordPress functionality, plugins, and themes.
- Implement and maintain website security measures, including firewalls and malware scanning.
- Optimize website speed and performance for an enhanced user experience across all devices.
- Provide support for content updates and minor structural adjustments within the WordPress CMS.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to ensure website functionality supports campaigns.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in WordPress content management system (CMS) and dashboard.
- Basic understanding of HTML and CSS for minor site adjustments.
- Familiarity with various WordPress plugins for security, performance, and SEO.
