Job Description

Are you eager to embark on a career in international trade and logistics? Esperance Global Freight is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Forwarding Assistant to join our team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals with no prior experience who are keen to learn the intricacies of global freight operations from the ground up. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship, gaining hands-on experience in coordinating shipments, managing documentation, and providing essential support to our freight forwarding specialists. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Freight Forwarding Specialists with daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
  • Prepare, process, and manage essential shipping documentation including bills of lading, customs declarations, and commercial invoices.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and overseas agents to track shipment status and resolve inquiries.
  • Input and maintain accurate data within our logistics management system.
  • Learn and apply knowledge of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
  • Support the coordination of freight movements via sea, air, and road.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry standards.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
