Job Description
Are you looking for an active, outdoor summer job where you can make a splash and enjoy the sunshine? Oakland Waves Water Park is seeking enthusiastic and energetic Tube Collectors to join our dynamic team for the summer season. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals who love being active, enjoy working outdoors, and are eager to contribute to a fun and safe environment for our guests. You’ll be crucial in keeping our attractions running smoothly by ensuring tubes are readily available and properly managed, all while getting a great tan!
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and return inflatable tubes to designated areas efficiently.
- Assist guests with tube selection and proper use of water park attractions.
- Monitor tube inventory and ensure an adequate supply for all rides.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tube storage areas.
- Provide friendly and helpful assistance to guests with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all water park safety guidelines and procedures.
- Stay hydrated and manage personal well-being in an outdoor environment.
- Collaborate with other park staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift tubes (up to 20 lbs) for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, including sun and heat.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service or outdoor environment (not required, but a plus).
- Basic first aid knowledge.
- Enthusiasm for water parks and summer activities.
