Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Remote Standardized Test Scorers for the upcoming seasonal assessment period. This is a fully remote, work-from-home position responsible for accurately scoring standardized tests according to established rubrics and guidelines. Ideal candidates possess a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a commitment to maintaining scoring integrity. Comprehensive training on specific scoring methodologies and test content will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately score a high volume of standardized tests according to established rubrics and scoring guides.
- Maintain consistent scoring reliability and adhere to strict quality control measures.
- Participate in mandatory virtual training and calibration sessions.
- Meet daily production and quality targets.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of all test materials and student information.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors regarding scoring progress and any issues encountered.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree or higher (all disciplines considered)
- Excellent reading comprehension and analytical skills
- Ability to follow complex instructions and apply rubrics consistently
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and internet navigation
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in education, teaching, or assessment is a plus
- Master's degree or teaching certification
- Experience with remote work environments
