Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and discreet Protocol Officer to join our dynamic team in Bath. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in the meticulous planning and execution of government and diplomatic events, ensuring every detail adheres to the highest standards of international protocol and logistical excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-profile engagements that shape national and international relations.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all logistical aspects of high-level government and diplomatic events, from initial planning to post-event wrap-up.
- Ensure strict adherence to national and international protocol, etiquette, and security guidelines for all attendees and activities.
- Manage guest lists, invitations, RSVPs, and seating arrangements for senior officials, diplomats, and dignitaries.
- Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, agendas, and background information for delegates and event participants.
- Liaise effectively with internal teams, government departments, embassies, and other external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination.
- Oversee event setup and dismantle, including venue preparation, technical requirements, catering, and transportation, ensuring all elements meet exacting standards.
- Act as a primary point of contact for VIP guests and ensure their needs are met with professionalism and discretion.
- Handle confidential information and sensitive matters with the utmost discretion and integrity.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues during event planning and execution.
Required Skills
- Excellent organizational, planning, and multitasking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with individuals at all levels.

- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).

- Proficiency in a second language (e.g., French, Arabic, Mandarin, German).
