Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Fraud Operations Intern to join our E-commerce Security team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in online security and e-commerce to gain practical experience in a fast-paced retail environment. You will support our fraud prevention efforts, helping to protect our customers and business from fraudulent activities. This entry-level position offers comprehensive training and mentorship, making it ideal for someone looking to start their career in fraud prevention without prior experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the fraud operations team in daily transaction monitoring and analysis.
- Support the investigation of suspicious orders and customer accounts.
- Learn to identify fraud patterns and trends in e-commerce transactions.
- Help with documentation and reporting of fraud incidents.
- Collaborate with customer service and other departments on fraud-related inquiries.
- Participate in training sessions to understand fraud detection tools and techniques.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the fraud prevention framework.
Required Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proficient in using standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems.
