Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our environmental team as an Entry Level Greenhouse Gas Emissions Data Clerk. This office-based role in Newcastle upon Tyne offers an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start their career in environmental data management and sustainability. You will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and verifying greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions data, supporting our efforts to provide accurate and compliant environmental reporting for our clients. Full training will be provided, making this an ideal position for candidates with no prior experience but a strong desire to learn and contribute to environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and input GHG emissions data from various sources into internal databases and reporting systems.
  • Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all recorded information.
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical records related to GHG emissions and environmental compliance.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations summarizing GHG data for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the environmental team with administrative tasks and ad-hoc data requests.
  • Learn and apply relevant environmental regulations and reporting standards related to GHG emissions.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline data collection processes and improve data management efficiency.

Required Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
