Job Description

Are you looking to kickstart your career in property maintenance? JLL is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Property Maintenance Assistant (Handyman/Mate) to join our team in Cheltenham. No prior experience is required, as we will provide full training and support to help you develop the skills needed to excel in property maintenance. You will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience in various aspects of property upkeep and repair. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior maintenance technicians and tradespeople with various repair and maintenance tasks across our property portfolio.
  • Learn to identify common maintenance issues and assist in their resolution under supervision.
  • Help with routine inspections and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Support with basic repairs such as painting, minor plumbing fixes, carpentry, and general upkeep.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are clean, safe, and in good working order.
  • Ensure all work areas are kept tidy and safe, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, tenants, and property managers.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as required to support the maintenance team.
