Job Description

Silver State Community Services is seeking dedicated Residential Care Workers for our night shift team in Carson City. This is an incredible opportunity for individuals who are passionate about helping people, even if you have no prior experience in caregiving. We provide extensive, full training to equip you with all the skills and knowledge needed to excel in this rewarding role. As a Residential Care Worker, you will be an essential part of our residents’ lives, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during overnight hours, contributing to a peaceful and supportive home environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct supervision and support to residents during the night shift, ensuring their safety and security.
- Assist residents with personal care tasks as needed, while promoting independence.
- Monitor residents' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate staff.
- Administer medication according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and comfortable living environment, including light housekeeping duties.
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of resident activities, incidents, and observations.
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate first aid or assistance as required.
- Implement individual care plans and behavioral support strategies during overnight hours.
- Foster a calm, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for all residents.

- Current CPR and First Aid certification (training can be provided upon hire).
- Experience in customer service or roles requiring empathy and communication.
