Job Description
Join TELUS, a leading Canadian telecommunications and technology company, in the vibrant city of Medicine Hat, Alberta, as a ServiceNow Architect. This is a full-time, hybrid position offering an attractive salary range of 120000-160000 CAD per year, coupled with a generous sign-on bonus and sponsorship opportunities for eligible candidates. We are looking for an experienced professional with a minimum of 72 months (6 years) of relevant experience to drive the strategic design and implementation of our ServiceNow platform, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and technical best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions across various modules (ITSM, ITBM, HRSD, CSM, etc.).
- Define technical specifications and standards for ServiceNow configurations, integrations, and customizations.
- Provide expert guidance and thought leadership to development teams, stakeholders, and business units.
- Conduct platform health assessments, performance tuning, and identify areas for optimization.
- Stay current with ServiceNow product releases, industry trends, and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation.
- Mentor junior architects and developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Required Skills
- Extensive experience with the ServiceNow platform, including deep knowledge of ITSM, ITBM, and ITOM modules.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and other web technologies relevant to ServiceNow.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in leading technical teams and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect or Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
- Certifications in additional ServiceNow modules (e.g., HRSD, CSM, GRC).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and enterprise integration patterns.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
