Job Description
Mitie is seeking dedicated and reliable individuals to join our team as Commercial Cleaners in Porthcawl. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking for part-time evening work, with full training provided – no previous experience is required! You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across various commercial sites, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for our clients and their visitors. We are looking for individuals who are thorough, punctual, and take pride in their work.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Empty waste bins and dispose of rubbish safely and efficiently
- Clean and disinfect washrooms and kitchen areas to a high standard
- Restock cleaning supplies and toiletries as needed
- Adhere strictly to health, safety, and COSHH regulations at all times
- Report any maintenance issues or damage to supervisors promptly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in a clean, safe, and tidy condition
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet cleaning schedules and standards
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality are essential
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
- No prior cleaning experience required – full training will be provided
Preferred Qualifications
