Job Description
Join our dedicated team at Cheshire West and Chester Council as a Water Department Customer Service Representative. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for residents and businesses regarding their water services. You will handle inquiries, resolve issues, and provide essential information, ensuring a high level of satisfaction for all service users. We are looking for an empathetic, organised, and professional individual with a strong commitment to public service.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person regarding water billing, service issues, account updates, and general information.
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints efficiently and courteously, escalating complex issues when necessary.
- Provide clear and accurate information on water services, regulations, and available support programs.
- Process service requests, payments, and account adjustments with precision.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions and transactions.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and data protection guidelines.
