Job Description
We are seeking an exceptional and highly experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to join our dynamic team in Stevenage. This role is crucial for driving the design vision and execution of our next-generation digital products, ensuring they are not only aesthetically pleasing but also intuitively usable and highly engaging. As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will lead design initiatives, mentor junior designers, and collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver world-class user experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for complex digital products and features, from concept to launch.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize findings to inform design decisions.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Develop and maintain design systems, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and other teams to align on product vision and execution.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and excellence.
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback iteratively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, tools, and technologies in UI/UX design.
Required Skills
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in UI/UX design.
- Proven track record of designing and launching successful digital products.
- Expert proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Strong portfolio showcasing a breadth of UI/UX design work and design process.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Experience with user research methodologies and analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience with motion graphics or animation in UI design.
- Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to understand technical constraints.
- Experience working in a global enterprise environment.
