Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered General Nurses (RGNs) to join our esteemed medical team in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. This unique opportunity is open to international nurses who are looking to advance their careers in the United States. Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with professional nursing standards and hospital policies.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, accurately documenting all actions.
- Monitor and observe patient conditions, interpret vital signs, and report changes to the medical team promptly.
- Provide comprehensive patient education to patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with nursing best practices.
- Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Required Skills
- Valid Registered General Nurse (RGN) license from country of origin
- Minimum of 12 months post-registration clinical experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in an acute care setting (e.g., Medical-Surgical, ICU, ED)
- Previous experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Willingness to obtain Wisconsin RN licensure upon arrival (with support)
