Job Description
As an Account Director at Experian, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with our key enterprise clients. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, developing strategic account plans, and driving the adoption of Experian’s comprehensive suite of data, analytics, and software solutions. This is a senior client-facing position requiring strong leadership, commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of the financial services or a related industry. You will lead a dedicated account team, ensuring client satisfaction, achieving revenue targets, and identifying new opportunities for growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting strategic relationships with key stakeholders at assigned enterprise accounts.
- Formulate and execute comprehensive account plans to achieve revenue targets and expand Experian's footprint within client organizations.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to develop compelling solutions and proposals.
- Lead and mentor a team of account managers and support staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects and solutions, ensuring client satisfaction and measurable business value.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing thought leadership and insights on industry trends and Experian capabilities.
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts, ensuring favorable terms and adherence to company policies.
- Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform account strategies and product development.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in enterprise account management or client services.
- Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets in a B2B environment.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership capabilities with experience in managing and mentoring direct reports or cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of data analytics, financial services, or relevant enterprise software solutions.
- Excellent commercial acumen and business development capabilities.
- Ability to engage with C-level executives and build rapport at all organizational levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience working within a global organization or with multi-national clients.
- Knowledge of credit lifecycle management, fraud prevention, or identity solutions.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
