Job Description

No prior experience driving a bus is required – we provide comprehensive, fully paid training to help you obtain your Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) licence. Key Responsibilities
- Undertake and successfully complete comprehensive PCV driver training.
- Learn and adhere to all safety procedures and driving regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers.
- Operate a bus safely and efficiently on designated routes after qualification.
- Collect fares and issue tickets accurately.
- Conduct pre-service vehicle checks.
- Communicate effectively with depot staff and passengers.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour.
Required Skills
- Full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months, maximum 6 penalty points).
- A strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for customer service.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
- Basic mechanical knowledge (not essential, but a plus).
