Job Description
Join Culina Logistics as a Forklift Spotter / Safety Assistant and become a vital part of our warehouse operations in Warrington. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals passionate about maintaining a safe working environment, even if you have no prior experience with forklifts or hold no license. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this crucial safety role. You will work closely with forklift operators, ensuring clear paths, safe distances, and adherence to all site safety protocols, playing a direct role in preventing accidents and promoting a culture of safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a dedicated spotter for forklift operators, especially in high-traffic or blind spot areas.
- Guide forklift movements to ensure safe loading, unloading, and stacking procedures.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with forklift operators using established hand signals, verbal cues, and radio communication.
- Monitor pedestrian and vehicle traffic within the warehouse to prevent collisions and ensure safe movement.
- Identify potential hazards and immediately report them to supervisors.
- Ensure all safety barriers, cones, and signage are correctly placed and maintained.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety briefings and training sessions as required.
