Job Description
Join the MarineMax team as a Yacht Teak Deck Polisher! We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to specialize in the meticulous care and restoration of teak decking on luxury yachts and boats. This role is crucial for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and longevity of our clients’ valuable vessels. You will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, sanding, and sealing teak surfaces, ensuring a pristine finish that meets our high standards. While prior specific teak experience is a plus, we are prepared to train candidates with a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for marine care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning, sanding, and polishing of yacht teak decks to restore their natural beauty.
- Apply appropriate teak sealers, oils, or finishes to protect and enhance the wood's appearance and longevity.
- Inspect teak surfaces for damage, wear, or areas requiring special attention and report findings.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment safely and effectively for teak restoration processes.
- Adhere to company safety protocols and environmental regulations regarding chemical usage and waste disposal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure proper care and maintenance of all equipment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project status and any challenges.

- Reliable transportation to various marina locations within the service area (primarily Maryland's major boating areas).
