Job Description
Join the enchanting world of bridal fashion as a Part-Time Bridal Boutique Fitting Assistant at Belle Époque Bridal. We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented individual with a passion for helping brides find their perfect dress. This role is crucial in supporting our stylists and ensuring a seamless, joyful fitting experience for our clients. No prior bridal experience is required; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate. Weekend availability is a must for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Bridal Stylists during appointments by retrieving gowns, preparing fitting rooms, and helping brides in and out of dresses.
- Maintain the organization and pristine condition of the boutique floor, fitting rooms, and inventory.
- Ensure all gowns are steamed, properly hung, and ready for appointments.
- Provide excellent customer service, greeting clients warmly and offering refreshments.
- Help with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing client files as needed.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the boutique is prepared for business or secured for the evening.
- Support the team with various tasks to ensure a smooth and enjoyable client journey.
- Learn and adhere to all boutique policies and procedures, especially regarding gown handling and client confidentiality.
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-end retail environment.
- A polite, professional, and patient demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy garment bags (up to 20 lbs).
- Reliable weekend availability (Saturdays and/or Sundays).
- Basic computer proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail or customer service.
- An interest in fashion, particularly bridal or formalwear.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
