Job Description

Are you a highly motivated individual seeking a dynamic, hands-on role in a fast-paced production environment? XPO Logistics is looking for diligent Magazine Bundling Operatives to join our end-of-line team in Greenville, SC. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient and accurate bundling of magazines, ensuring they are prepared for shipment according to strict quality standards and deadlines. This position requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work quickly and precisely, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized workspace. Full training will be provided to ensure your success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate semi-automatic bundling machinery to accurately package magazines at the end of the production line.
  • Perform quality checks on bundled products, ensuring proper count, packaging integrity, and label placement.
  • Load and unload materials onto the production line and into designated storage areas, potentially requiring lifting.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor machinery for potential issues and report any malfunctions or defects to supervisors promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets and ensure smooth workflow.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on accuracy and speed.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Capable of lifting up to 30 lbs consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with production line processes or machinery operation.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
