Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Truck Wash Bay Attendant to join our team in Houston. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals who are comfortable working in a fast-paced, wet environment and are committed to delivering high-quality results. As an Attendant, you will be responsible for meticulously washing and detailing a variety of big rigs and commercial vehicles. Full training will be provided to ensure you are proficient in all washing techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols. This role requires physical stamina and attention to detail to ensure every truck meets our high standards of cleanliness.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate high-pressure washing equipment to clean the exterior of trucks and trailers.
- Apply appropriate cleaning solutions and soaps as per company standards.
- Perform detailed cleaning tasks including wheel wells, tires, undercarriages, and engine compartments (as required).
- Inspect vehicles before and after washing to ensure all areas are thoroughly cleaned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay area, including proper disposal of waste and chemicals.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment and working in a wet environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding job status and any issues.
- Assist with other facility maintenance tasks as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to work effectively in a wet, outdoor, and sometimes noisy environment.
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new cleaning techniques and equipment.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Commitment to safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with power washing or vehicle cleaning is a plus but not required.
- Basic mechanical aptitude or familiarity with commercial vehicles.
