Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Wine Bottling Line Assistant to join our team for the upcoming bottling season. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role perfect for individuals who enjoy physical work and contributing to a quality product. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our wines are bottled, labeled, and prepared for distribution efficiently and safely. While previous experience is a plus, we are happy to train motivated individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor bottling line machinery under supervision.
  • Load empty bottles onto the bottling line.
  • Apply labels, capsules, and corks/screw caps to bottles accurately.
  • Pack finished bottles into cases according to specifications.
  • Perform quality checks on bottled products to ensure standards are met.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company procedures at all times.
  • Assist with other cellar tasks as needed, contributing to overall winery operations.

Required Skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy cases (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
  • Basic understanding of hygiene and safety practices.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Interest in the wine industry or beverage production.
  • Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
