Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our growing team in Bath. In this vital role, you will provide essential care and support to our service users, helping them maintain their independence and enhance their quality of life within the comfort of their own homes. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Support with medication administration, adhering to strict guidelines and training.
  • Prepare and assist with meals, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging in meaningful conversations and activities.
  • Perform light domestic duties and assist with household tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records for each service user.
  • Communicate effectively with service users, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to all Mears Group policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
