Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to join our dynamic Human Resources team in Saint Paul, MN. This role is crucial in attracting, sourcing, and securing top-tier talent to meet our evolving business needs. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives, managing the full recruitment life cycle, and collaborating closely with hiring managers to ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates looking to make Saint Paul their new home.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end recruitment process for various roles across multiple departments.
- Develop and execute innovative talent acquisition strategies, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software to manage candidate pipelines and data.
- Coach and mentor junior recruiters or HR team members involved in recruitment.
- Analyze recruitment metrics and data to identify trends, improve processes, and optimize hiring efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, providing a superior candidate experience.
- Represent 3M at career fairs, industry events, and campus recruitment initiatives.
- Oversee the onboarding process handoff to HR generalists to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or corporate recruiting.
- Proven track record of successfully hiring for a diverse range of roles, including technical, professional, and leadership positions.
- Strong understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and candidate assessment methods.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and evolving environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience recruiting for a large, global organization.
- Certifications in HR or recruitment (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, AIRS).
- Experience with employer branding initiatives.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations relevant to recruitment.
