Job Description
We are seeking a highly organised, resilient, and proactive Repossession Agency Dispatcher to join our dynamic night shift team in Reading. This is a critical, fast-paced role that demands exceptional communication skills and the ability to coordinate complex operations under pressure. As a Night Shift Dispatcher, you will be the central point of contact for our field agents, responsible for real-time dispatching, monitoring, and problem-solving to ensure the smooth and efficient recovery of assets throughout the night. Your ability to maintain clear communication, accurate record-keeping, and quick decision-making will be paramount to our success.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently dispatch and route field agents to various repossession assignments across the UK during night hours.
- Monitor agent progress and provide real-time support, guidance, and problem-solving for any operational challenges.
- Maintain constant, clear, and concise communication with field agents, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Accurately log all dispatch activities, incidents, and communications in the company's proprietary dispatch and CRM systems.
- Respond promptly to urgent requests, emergencies, and last-minute schedule adjustments.
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive end-of-shift reports detailing all significant activities and incidents.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to thrive and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and dynamic environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising accuracy.
- Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and standard computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and a calm, decisive demeanor under pressure.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic, particularly for scheduled night shifts.
- Geographical knowledge of the UK to assist with routing and logistics.
Preferred Qualifications
