Job Description

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water is offering an incredible opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Trainee Water Treatment Plant Operators. No prior experience is required as we provide comprehensive, fully paid training to equip you with all the skills needed to succeed. This is a secure, full-time, on-site role where you’ll contribute directly to providing clean, safe drinking water to communities across Wales. You’ll learn to operate and monitor our state-of-the-art water treatment facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with strict quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training in water treatment processes and plant operations.
- Assist in the routine monitoring of water treatment plant equipment and processes.
- Learn to collect and analyze water samples to ensure quality standards are met.
- Support senior operators in carrying out preventative maintenance and minor repairs.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of plant performance and operational data.
- Participate in shift work rotations as required after initial training.
