Job Description

Mondou Distribution is excited to offer a Trainee Reach Truck Driver position in Sherbrooke, complete with a fully funded licence program! We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals who are eager to learn and operate state-of-the-art reach trucks in our modern distribution center. This full-time permanent role provides comprehensive training, ensuring you gain all the necessary skills and certifications to excel. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all training sessions for reach truck operation and safety protocols.
- Learn to safely and efficiently operate a reach truck to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as part of the team.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all housekeeping standards.
- Perform pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand instructions in English or French.
- Strong commitment to safety and following procedures.
- Good physical condition, capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and inventory tasks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or industrial environment (not mandatory, but a plus).
- Familiarity with inventory systems or scanning equipment.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license for reliable transportation to work.
