Job Description
As the Supply Chain Director at Napoleon, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing our end-to-end global supply chain operations. This critical role involves strategic planning, execution, and management of all aspects of procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution to ensure seamless and efficient delivery of our diverse product portfolio to markets worldwide. You will drive initiatives to enhance supply chain resilience, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and support our rapid global growth. This position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of international logistics, sourcing, and supply chain best practices, capable of inspiring and managing a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust global supply chain strategies aligning with company objectives for growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee all procurement activities, including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and vendor relationship management for international and domestic suppliers.
- Manage and optimize inventory levels across all distribution channels to minimize carrying costs while ensuring product availability.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Drive efficiency in logistics, warehousing, and distribution, leveraging technology and best practices.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical, economic, and operational disruptions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, production, and finance teams to ensure integrated operational planning and execution.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on supply chain performance to senior leadership, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Required Skills
- 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing complex global supply chains, including international logistics and customs.
- Strong strategic planning and analytical skills, with proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Exceptional negotiation and vendor management abilities.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills, with experience managing diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Supply Chain Management.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., SCMP, CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
- Proficiency in additional languages relevant to global trade.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector, particularly in durable goods.
