Job Description
Join the RH team as a High-End Furniture Delivery & Assembly Specialist, providing white-glove service to our discerning clients. This role is critical to delivering the RH luxury experience, ensuring the safe, efficient, and professional transport and in-home assembly of our premium furnishings. You will be the final touchpoint for many of our customers, embodying our commitment to excellence through meticulous attention to detail and outstanding customer care. This position offers the opportunity to earn tips for exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load, transport, and unload high-end furniture and decor items, adhering to strict handling protocols to prevent damage.
- Perform professional and meticulous in-home assembly and setup of furniture according to manufacturer specifications and RH quality standards.
- Provide exceptional 'white-glove' customer service, including clear communication, respectful interaction, and problem-solving at the customer's home.
- Inspect all items for damage or imperfections upon receipt and prior to delivery, documenting any issues accurately.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction by verifying proper item placement, functionality, and cleanliness of the work area.
- Navigate routes efficiently and adhere to scheduled delivery windows.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
- Comply with all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture (up to 75+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
- Demonstrated strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools for assembly.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in furniture delivery, assembly, or a related 'white-glove' service role.
- Experience with detailed assembly instructions and various furniture construction types.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
