Job Description
Are you looking for a flexible way to earn money while staying active? Menulog is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Delivery Cyclists to join our growing team in Melbourne. No prior experience is necessary – we provide the bike, the training, and all the support you need to succeed. If you love being outdoors, have a positive attitude, and want to get paid weekly, this is the perfect opportunity for you! You’ll be responsible for picking up food orders from local restaurants and delivering them promptly and courteously to our customers within the Somerton area. We value reliability, a friendly demeanor, and a commitment to safe cycling.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver food orders from various restaurants to customers using a provided Menulog bicycle.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining the quality and temperature of food items.
- Interact with customers and restaurant staff in a friendly and professional manner.
- Accurately use the Menulog delivery app to manage orders, routes, and customer communications.
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and Menulog's safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and presentable Menulog bicycle.
- Report any issues or challenges encountered during deliveries to the support team.
Required Skills
- Ability to cycle safely and confidently in urban environments.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Possession of a smartphone with data plan (Android or iOS).
- Reliable and punctual work ethic.
- Customer-focused attitude.
- Basic understanding of navigation using mapping applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the local Somerton/Melbourne area.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (not mandatory).
- Availability to work during peak meal times (lunches, dinners, weekends).
