In this role, you will work closely with our experienced lead photographers, assisting them on location at various properties across Huddersfield and the surrounding areas. You will be instrumental in ensuring smooth photo shoots, contributing to the creation of stunning visual content that attracts potential buyers and renters.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead photographers with equipment setup, breakdown, and transport to and from property locations.
- Support with minor staging and preparation of properties to ensure they are photo-ready.
- Learn and apply basic photography principles and techniques under the guidance of senior team members.
- Organize and manage photographic equipment, ensuring it is well-maintained and ready for use.
- Provide logistical support during shoots, helping to maintain schedules and ensure efficiency.
- Engage politely and professionally with property owners and agents on-site.
Required Skills
- No prior photography or real estate experience is necessary; full training will be provided.
- A genuine enthusiasm for photography and an interest in the real estate sector.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license and access to reliable transportation (mileage reimbursed).
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical capability to carry and set up photographic equipment (within reasonable limits).
- Reliability and a professional attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Huddersfield area and its surrounding districts.
- Basic understanding of digital cameras or photo editing software (not essential, but a plus).
- Previous customer service or client-facing experience.
