Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming emergency and non-emergency calls.
  • Gather critical information from callers to accurately assess the nature and severity of incidents.
  • Input data efficiently and precisely into our dispatch and reporting systems.
  • Provide clear, calm, and concise instructions to callers, ensuring their safety and preparedness.
  • Maintain composure and professionalism at all times, especially during high-stress situations.
  • Collaborate effectively with field response teams, supervisors, and other agencies.
  • Successfully complete all required training modules, certifications, and ongoing professional development.
  • Adhere to all operational policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Strong ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure.

  • Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
