Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Manufacturing Gluing Assistant to join our production team at our Baltimore shoe factory. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing, as no prior experience is required. We provide comprehensive training to ensure you gain the skills needed to succeed in this vital role. As a Gluing Assistant, you will be responsible for applying adhesives to various shoe components with precision, contributing directly to the assembly of our footwear products. Your dedication to quality and teamwork will be essential in maintaining our high standards of production.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare shoe components for the gluing process, including cleaning and positioning materials.
- Accurately apply adhesives to specified areas of shoe parts following detailed instructions and quality standards.
- Operate basic gluing machinery and tools safely and efficiently after receiving training.
- Inspect glued components for proper adhesion and quality, identifying and reporting any defects.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to all safety protocols and factory guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets.
- Assist with other general production tasks as needed.
