Job Description
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Food Production Line Hands to join our expanding team at our state-of-the-art facility in Tweed Heads. This is a full-time, on-site position offering stable employment and the opportunity to work in a meticulously clean and organized factory environment. If you are detail-oriented, have a strong work ethic, and are looking for a role where your contribution makes a real difference to product quality, we encourage you to apply. Key Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring food production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Performing quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards and specifications.
- Packaging, labeling, and preparing food products for shipment.
- Adhering strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Assisting with general factory duties as required.
- Working collaboratively within a team to meet production targets.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 6 months of experience in a production, manufacturing, or similar fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Physical capability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and hygiene.
- Reliable transport and punctuality.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Food Handling Certificate.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing or processing facility.
- Familiarity with HACCP or similar food safety systems.
