Job Description

Geelong Tree Services is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as an Entry Level Tree Lopper Assistant. No prior experience is required – we provide comprehensive on-the-job training to equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed. This physically demanding role involves assisting qualified arborists with various tree maintenance and removal tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency on every project. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist arborists and ground crew with tree felling, pruning, and removal operations.
  • Operate and maintain various hand tools and power equipment under supervision (e.g., chainsaws, wood chippers, stump grinders).
  • Clear brush, stack wood, and maintain a clean and safe work site.
  • Haul branches and debris to chipper, feed chipper safely.
  • Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) correctly.
  • Learn and apply proper tree care techniques and industry best practices.
  • Assist with equipment loading, unloading, and basic maintenance.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and collaborate effectively with team members.
