Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Afternoon Dishwasher to join our vibrant team at San Churro Chocolateria in Gungahlin. This casual role is perfect for someone looking for flexible afternoon shifts and an entry-level opportunity within the hospitality industry. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen, ensuring our team has the tools they need to create delicious treats. Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely to clean all dishes, glassware, and kitchen utensils.
- Hand wash delicate items and specialty equipment as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing area, including sinks, work surfaces, and storage racks.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, pots, and pans are clean and stored correctly.
- Assist with basic kitchen cleanup tasks, such as sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying rubbish bins.
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries as needed.
