Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Plasterers Labourer to join our growing team in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual keen to learn and contribute to high-quality construction projects. The successful candidate will provide essential support to our experienced plasterers, ensuring sites are prepared, materials are managed efficiently, and work areas are kept safe and tidy. Full training will be provided to develop skills in plastering support and general site operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting plasterers with the preparation of surfaces, including cleaning, scraping, and mixing materials.
- Transporting materials such as plaster, sand, and water around the site.
- Ensuring the correct tools and equipment are available and maintained.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including clearing debris and waste.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations on site.
- Supporting general site tasks as required by the site manager or plasterers.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour.
- Willingness to learn and take instruction.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety (training will be provided).
- Excellent time management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a construction environment is an advantage but not essential.
- CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one upon starting).
- Full UK driving license.
