Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to join our growing team in Campbelltown. This pivotal role involves overseeing the end-to-end production of a diverse range of entertainment events, ensuring seamless execution from concept to delivery. You will be responsible for managing all technical, logistical, and creative aspects, working closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to bring visions to life while adhering to budget and timeline constraints.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all technical and logistical elements for entertainment events.
- Develop detailed production schedules, budgets, and resource plans, ensuring efficient allocation of personnel and equipment.
- Manage client relationships, interpreting their needs and translating them into actionable production plans.
- Oversee on-site event operations, including setup, live show management, and dismantle, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
- Coordinate with internal departments (AV, staging, styling) and external suppliers to secure necessary equipment, talent, and services.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to keep events on track.
- Conduct post-event evaluations, gathering feedback and preparing reports for continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in event production management, specifically within the entertainment sector.
- Strong understanding of audio-visual technologies, staging, lighting, and rigging.
- Excellent project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities for client and team coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Proficiency with industry-standard production software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various event sites.
Preferred Qualifications
- Tertiary qualification in Event Management, Technical Production, or a related field.
- Experience with large-scale outdoor events or festivals.
- First Aid certification.
- OHS/WHS accreditation or extensive knowledge of safety regulations in event production.
