Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and diligent individuals to join our team as Apple Thinning Staff for the upcoming summer season. This is a crucial role in ensuring the optimal growth and quality of our apple crops. As Apple Thinning Staff, you will be responsible for manually removing excess fruit from our apple trees, allowing the remaining apples to grow larger and healthier. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided on-site. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking for immediate summer work, enjoying the outdoors, and being part of a vital agricultural process.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully remove small, damaged, or excess apples from trees according to supervisor instructions.
- Work efficiently and accurately to meet daily thinning targets.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the orchard.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and horticultural guidelines.
- Report any tree health concerns or issues to supervisors.
