Job Description
Are you looking for an entry-level role where you can get fit and earn a great wage? The Good Guys is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our delivery team as an Appliance Delivery Offsider in Port Adelaide. No prior experience is required – we provide full training for the right candidates! You’ll work as part of a two-person crew, assisting with the safe and efficient delivery and occasional installation of white goods and other appliances to our valued customers. This is a physically demanding role that offers excellent team camaraderie and a chance to make a real impact on customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading appliances at the warehouse and customer locations.
- Safely transport a wide range of appliances, including refrigerators, washing machines, and televisions, to customer homes and businesses.
- Help navigate and plan efficient delivery routes with the driver.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience.
- Follow all safety protocols and company procedures to prevent damage to products, property, and ensure personal safety.
- Perform basic unpackaging and positioning of appliances as required.
- Collect old appliances for recycling or disposal where specified.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a customer service role (not essential)
- Familiarity with the Port Adelaide and surrounding metropolitan area (not essential)
- Current Australian Driver's License (not essential, but an advantage for future growth)
