Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Art Supplies Store Advisor to join our team in Portland, ME. As an advisor, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, offering expert guidance and support to help them find the perfect materials for their creative projects. This role involves assisting with product selection, maintaining an organized and inspiring store environment, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every artist. Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, assisting artists of all skill levels with product inquiries and recommendations.
- Share knowledge and enthusiasm for various art mediums, tools, and techniques.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing store environment, including shelving and displays.
- Accurately process customer transactions using our point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Restock merchandise, manage inventory, and assist with receiving new shipments.
- Actively learn about new art products, trends, and promotions to better serve customers.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
